Hello, neighbors!
The weather is not exactly normal, but I think we’re all pretty ok with it being a mild fall even if we desperately could use a good foot of rain (though, please, not all at once).
The Alvo Community Improvement Association’s Halloween Trunk or Treat was a blast! Sarah Slattery stopped by with treat bags and coloring books, spooky trunks had ornery tricks awaiting candy seekers, and something tragic seems to have happened to Waldo. But the costumes, oh, those are easily the funniest part of Halloween for me, the kids get creative and silly and it’s wonderful to see them so freely enjoying adventures with their friends. I would certainly anticipate this to become an annual tradition for our little Village.
