Made possible in part by Community Sustaining Sponsor

I don't know about anyone else, but this summer is whizzing by! Before we know it, we're all going to be going back to school and the weather will be cooling off. At least I hope; there are only so many 90 degree days I think I can handle. But we still have kids home during the day so please, mind your speed as you cruise through the village and especially on Fletcher Ave/ East 1st Street as the posted speed limit is 25mph.

Relating to Cathina's latest community poll, my husband, Nathan, and I have taken the initiative to start planning to building a Little Free Library. For those who are unfamiliar, the concept is pretty simple as it runs by "Take a book, leave a book". Details will be announced once we have something a little more concrete beyond being excited to steward one for our Village.

Also, a quick update to our local Farmer's Market in nearby Eagle, the hours are now begining at 5pm instead of 4PM for the rest of the summer, and the website has been updated to reflect this information. Thank you, Trisha, for the update.

Our little community is starting to come together for various projects, and I'm just as excited to be able to announce them on our website as I am to take part in some them as details get ironed out. If anyone has any suggestions please just email them my way as we are all working toward having a better place to call home.

Enjoy these next few weeks, it goes by so quickly!
