Summer break is only days from beginning and half a day from some schools. I’d like to remind individuals taking Fletcher Street through Alvo, there is a law required speed reduction through the Village. Year-round there are vehicles that drive through the Village well over the posted speed limit at dangerous speeds. With summer starting, there will be an increase of children in the community playing outdoors, please slow down and drive with caution.
