Make some new friends or catch up with some old ones. Every Tuesday at noon, people over the age of 60 from around the area gather at the Eagle Lutheran church for a hot lunch and fellowship. The cost is $4, please let Audrey know by Monday morning if you intend on coming. Phone 402.332.7367

Reminder for those intending to vote on the upcoming recall election of Robin LaPage and Larry Langer. Only registered voters will be sent ballots. Newly registered voters must have completed the Nebraska Voter Registration Application and submitted it in person to the Elections Office in Plattsmouth no later than February 8th for their vote to be valid in the recall election. Ann (Walla) Wells, intends to gift a $500 scholarship to a high school senior and resident of Alvo to be used for College, Junior College, Art School, or Trade School. The recipient does not need to have a certain grade point average, just a desire to continue their education or learn a trade.
