One step forward, two steps back
Neal had outpatient surgery on both hands last Wednesday (September 18th) to rermove another staple in one finger and release a locked tendon in another. As part of the procedure, his fingers and wrists were manipulated through the full range of motion - which didn't hurt while it's happening (pain medications), but really, really got his attention when the medications wore off. What this means is that his physical therapy starts over from square one.
Folks, recovering from serious burns is an every day slog for a long, long time. Now would be a good time to give him some encouragement to keep on working to recover full function in both hands.
