Lincoln's Symphony annual Christmas Concert officially starts my Christmas season. This year was innovative, combining bell ringers, dancers of several styles and the audience (more about that later) under Tyler White's direction. Okay, let me give you the one picky comment. 'Glories Ring' combined Bell-Issimo handbell artists with the orchestra, which pretty much overpowered the bells. (They deserved a solo piece.) Everything else ranged from excellent to magical. LSO without Ed Polocchick, Anton Miler and Karen (and some others) is still great. There is no loss of quality between principals and second, third or fourth chairs.
