Folks, if you are not a fan of live music, Hops, Props and Wings will convert you.
Last Thursday, twin brothers Stan and Wayne Fritz (who have been playing together since 1965 and they are - well - like twins) on lead and 5 string bass guitar kept the museum jumping along with the rest of the band. Turk Mully has a great vocal range as well as rocking out on the keyboards and occasionally the tenor sax. Gregg Premer is the newest member who handles the beat and has a blast while doing so. They played three sets with an encore that had all the crowd except 2 left feet Dave on the dance carpet.
A young woman came out of the crowd for 2 songs and wowed the crowd - if you know her let her know she's got a voice like Wynona's - only better.
Rowan Mully made his first pro performance on the drums - got a standing ovation and a dollar - Hey, we all gotta start somewhere.
Each week the music - which was great at the beginning - gets better.
