OK, here we go into abnormally dry and moderate drought conditions increasing, especially in the Panhandle... Cass County holding at normal, for the time being. I left last week's map for easy comparison.  Click on either image for the home page of the UNL drought monitor. Nebraska is not alone. Let's think seriously about conserving water.

July 27th, 1999 - The US space shuttle Discovery completed a five-day mission commanded by Air Force Col. Eileen Collins. It was the first shuttle mission to be commanded by a woman. Click on the image for her story.
