Time to help our neighbors!
Neal and Jennifer Wilhelm's house is a total loss from the propane explosion on May 11th. Neal faces a long, hard road to recovery from severe burns to both hands and serious burns to his face, head and legs. Once he is released from St. Elizabeth Burn Center, he faces intensive rehabilitation, most likely at Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital in Lincoln. Neal will be unable to work for an extended time. Their house can't be repaired and will be demolished soon.
The American Exchange Bank has set up a support fund for Neal and Jennifer to assist with medical, living and rebuilding expenses at both Eagle and Elmwood branches.

A black H & H dump trailer valued at $ 6000 was stolen from the lot at the northeast corner of 2nd and Main Streets last Thursday evening (May 23rd). It was last seen westbound on Fletcher. If you know anything about this and contact Cass County Sheriff Department at 1-402-296-9370 you're a good guy. If you know about it and don't do anything, you're an accessory.
