animated-update

Nebraska 63 construction from Alvo south to US 34 has started - watch for construction people and equipment. Plan on delays due to single lane traffic with a pilot car. Also, traffic on 1st, Main and 2nd will increase due to the contractor loading their water supply truck at the 2nd and Main hydrant. Keep your eyes off the smartphone and on the road, please

Over the weekend, one boating fatality and one severe boating injury in two separate incidents in Nebraska. Haven't heard of any fireworks injuries yet, but with the 4th on Saturday, it promises to be busy time at emergency rooms across the country. Fireworks, alcohol and kids are not a good combination. Parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles - keep a close eye on the youngsters who are playing with fire(works). Nobody has created an artificial eye yet.
