Only 14 shopping days .... DogBiting

Too much information last week, so the Santa Claus and Christmas Tree information is here, but you have to scroll down to those items.

The state is dryer than last week..... reduced moisture level in 5 more counties.

Twelve counties in south west and south central are entirely abnormally dry. The dry percentage increased from 23.58% to 24.30%. I am not a snow fan, but moisture is needed in almost a quarter of the state. Let's make water conservation a top resolution for 2015.

I am very pleased to announce that Elmwood will be the first Community in Nebraska to deploy Village Alerts and Critical Municipal Messaging beginning Jan 1, 2015 In our world of Mobile Devices and instant Messaging this was an obvious piece of the puzzle, and now the Village of Elmwood will be able to reach out to its residents in an emergency and connect with 93% in less than 90 Seconds and get a positive confirmation of the message delivery as well as their residents' safety and status - no communications technology has ever offered such power within reach of a small Community. The leadership of Elmwood decided that this power would be an investment in the peace of mind as well as the safety and well being of their community. They should be applauded for their vision. No other community in Nebraska has deployed technology like this. Cass County is again the technology and quality of life leader in Nebraska.
5 other communities in Cass County and surrounding areas are currently considering a system like this - and I am available to answer any as to the status of your Community at 402-968-0821
Congratulations Elmwood!
