Tomorrow is Thanksgiving - our favorite family holiday.
Accuweather predicts mostly sunshine and 32 degrees for Thanksgiving day here in Alvo, with wind out of the east southeast at 6 mph gusting to 12 mph. Sounds like a good day to stay in and enjoy the feast. With the negative happenings in the rest of the world, I'm thankful that some of our family are going to share the meal with us. I'm thankful that none of my nephews or nieces or their spouses are in Iraq or Afghanistan, that we don't live in Ferguson, Missouri, that the snow has mostly melted, that the negative election ads are done for another couple of years, we have a new rescue squad EMT and a new fire department member.
So from our house to yours - hope you have many reasons to give thanks tomorrow.
