Happy Thanksgiving, Alvo.
Thank you to the 23 subscribers wherever you are - hope you are still reading my ramblings about this quirky village. If you like what you see and read, let me know - if you unsubscribe, let me know why. If you are a former Alvoan or Alvoite, let us know what you're up to, if what you're doing is legal.
Almost everywhere I go, someone in the group says "My great aunt, rotten ex-husband, grandpa or grandma, worthless brother-in-law, teacher or I lived in Alvo" - no wonder we are a small town - everyone left.
If any of you subscribed or unsubscribed readers would like to see something other than what appears out of my borderline brain, LET ME KNOW, PLEASE.
My ideas dry up with the drop in temperature and the gloomy fall days - how about some help, here?

Congratulations, Bluejays - there are 46 other C-1 schools that would trade places with you.
Representatives from the Nebraska Rural Water Association spent Tuesday morning locating all the water main valves in the village. They are marked with paint, so please don't erase the paint. Knowing the valve locations allows Darrell to deal with broken mains without having to shut off water to the whole town, which saves your dollars.
