Still getting better - 76 counties have normal soil moisture; 9 are normal to abnormally dry, but 3 are abnormally dry, 2 are abnormally dry to moderate drought, 3 range from normal to moderate drought with abnormally dry areas as well.There are no severe drought conditions anywhere in our state. Nationally only Florida and Alaska have normal moisture levels - and the territory of Puerto Rico - but they have no power and very little clean drinking water.
