Biggest improvement yet! - 74 counties have normal soil moisture; 10 are normal to abnormally dry, only 1 is abnormally dry, 4 are abnormally dry to moderate drought, 4 range from normal to moderate drought with abnormally dry areas as well. There are no severe drought conditions anywhere in our state. Now, the bad news there are only six  states  in the country with normal moisture levels - all of them in either the northeast or southeast and Alaska and Puerto Rico.
